(Tallahassee, Friday, March 5) – The race to craft a balanced budget for state government left the starting blocks on Tuesday, amidst the most sluggish economy Floridians have witnessed in recent decades. From the dais, our state’s leaders were quick to admit the track ahead might be challenging, though ultimately doable. However, the view to that far-away finish line was certainly not all that clear to the rank and file Senators and Reps seated down on the floor in their padded blue chairs.
